THE INSIDER, CBS Television Distribution's nightly, half-hour entertainment newsmagazine, which ranks second only to "Entertainment Tonight" in the genre, enters its fourth season in September 10, 2007.
In September of 2007 THE INSIDER makes a monumental move to New York City. The production relocates to a new home at the legendary Minskoff Theater in Times Square. This marks the first time since the show's inception that both anchors, Pat O' Brien and Lara Spencer, will host together on a daily basis.
THE INSIDER premiered in 2004 as the highest-rated debut of any newsmagazine in syndication since 1996. Based on the popular "Entertainment Tonight" segment of the same name, THE INSIDER reports on the world of celebrity from a unique "insider" perspective, using first-person interviews, special "inside" access, "behind-closed-door" reports and "inside information" from knowledgeable sources and contacts.
THE INSIDER is produced and distributed by CBS Television Distribution in Hollywood, Calif. and New York, New York. Linda Bell Blue is Executive Producer. Pat O'Brien is Anchor; Lara Spencer is Co-Anchor; Victoria Recaño, Steven Cojocaru, and Cheryl Woodcock are Correspondents.
CBS Television Distribution is a unit of CBS Corp.
